Welcome to our new look Myddfai Herbs, a website dedicated to promoting awareness and understanding of the Welsh tradition of herbal medicine, along with its historical links to other European herbal traditions.  Last updated 31/7/10

The name Myddfai Herbs derives from the little Carmarthenshire village of Myddfai, where the legendary Physicians of Myddfai lived, worked and derived their inspiration.

Stella Byrne (Anderson) started her herbal practice of Myddfai Herbs in 1979. Since 2002 Dylan Warren-Davis has been collaborating with Stella at Myddfai Herbs.

The interactive CD-Rom "A Welsh Herbal - a herbal journey through the culture & places of Wales" is the first in a projected series of interactive CD-Roms on Western herbal knowledge in Britain and Europe, published by Myddfai Herbs.
